lazy song – 1

the analysis of a test shoot conducted for a music video project, with a specific focus on camera specialization to attain a simple yet potent visual aesthetic. The author, adept in camera work, opted for static shots during the test shoot to align with the desired simplicity of the project. Through a meticulous examination of various camera techniques and their impact on visual composition, the study highlights the intricate balance between simplicity and effectiveness in visual storytelling.

dog days are over – 2

In this project, I’ve gained proficiency in utilizing white balance to enhance the clarity of shots. Additionally, I experimented with various compositions, finding particular appeal in the “frame within a frame” technique, which effectively highlights subjects without relying solely on the camera lens.

horror practice – 1

For our second project, a horror production, we conducted a preliminary test to assess our capabilities beforehand. Working alongside individuals with whom I had not previously collaborated proved to be a rewarding experience. Despite our diverse skill sets, our collaboration felt seamless and natural, resulting in effective teamwork and cohesive output.

horror practice – 2

Aligned with our exploration of the horror genre, we delved into the application of the golden spiral principle. While initially unfamiliar to me, I engaged in research examining its utilization in various contexts, such as observed in the natural formation of a nautilus shell. Implementing phi grid overlays on my camera screen facilitated the visualization of the spiral’s trajectory, thereby enhancing my understanding and application of this compositional technique.
